Even more alarming, 1 in 4 children in South Africa go to bed hungry, according to Operation Hunger SA. And each year, more than 1,000 children die from malnutrition. Hunger not only threatens survival—it steals potential, causes stunting, and limits a child’s ability to learn, grow, and thrive.
